Wesley Wang

Wesley is an operations and compliance professional with over 9 years of experience in the financial services industry. Currently serving as Operations & Compliance Manager at Affinity Investment Advisors, LLC, he is responsible for supporting trading operations, compliance protocols, and client service.

 

Prior to joining Affinity, Wesley spent 7 years at Parallax Volatility Advisers, LP, where he held several key positions, including Middle Office Manager. He led a team of analysts supporting over 20 traders across multiple strategies and was instrumental in developing a proprietary interactive checklist that streamlined the execution of 100+ daily deliverables. Wesley also pioneered the use of time-tracking and performance metrics that improved team efficiency and accountability. In addition, he led firm-wide initiatives to enhance equity financing, automate trading workflows, and prepare systems for regulatory changes.

 

Wesley is a proactive leader who has consistently exceeded performance goals and driven operational excellence throughout his career. He is currently working toward an M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and holds a B.S. in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis.

 

He is also actively involved in his local church, where he serves on the Worship Advisory Board, providing strategic guidance to support worship team development for over 30 team members.

 

Outside of work, Wesley enjoys playing sports like golf and pickleball, and is passionate about empowering teams to foster inclusive excellence.
